EU FP6 Specific Support Action. Young
Train |
The principal objective of this
project is to strengthen the total food chain approach in countries
of Central and Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean area, with
particular emphasis on improving the quality and safety of meat.
Specifically the proposal aims, through a programme of training
seminars and workshops, at enabling early career animal scientists (ECS)
recruited from the target countries to acquire knowledge that will
enable them better to participate in the European Research Area. The
programme will lead to the development of collaborative research
proposals for the future framework programme and to improved
dissemination and exploitation of research results relating to a
whole food chain approach to meat safety and quality.
The project is coordinated by EAAP,
