Impact of PLF and sensor on phenotyping and welfare assessment

With this 4th EAAP Webinar we intend to first set the stage with a lecture offered by Anna Stygar and Jarkko Niemi, Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke) on Sensors for pigs and dairy cattle welfare assessment – usefulness of commercially available technologies and consumers perception. This will be followed by a talk on Practical PLF, what are some recent advances in the field of meat producing livestock? by Jarissa Maselyne, ILVO (Belgium).The last talk will be on Sensors, welfare assessments and phenotyping in dairy cattle, given by Wijbrand Outweltjes, Wageningen University & Research (The Netherlands).
